Many men like to try to grow a beard or mustache. For some, it works out perfectly. For others, though, it may be a lot more difficult. If you are able to easily grow facial hair, there are many different ways you can style it, so that your facial hair helps you express your personality.
Some men, even those who are able to grow a full beard easily, prefer to go clean shaven. There are many factors to this. For some, it is a comfort thing. For others, it may be because you feel cleaner, or overall just better when your facial hair is not there. It could even be a requirement of your job. Some companies and industries do not allow facial hair. Sometimes the reason that a man shaves completely is because his significant other prefers it that way. No matter the reason, there are a lot of men that do go clean shaven most of the time.
On the exact opposite end of the spectrum, there is the full beard. Sometimes this is neatly trimmed, while other times it is shaggy. There are just as many reasons that men have full beards as clean shaven faces. Some prefer it that way. Others are honestly just too lazy to shave all the time. Some men feel that it adds a bit of age and authority to their presence.
The goatee is also a popular choice for many men who want to sport some facial hair. Many find that the goatee is a great cross between a beard and a clean shave. Many also find it to be a more professional way to wear their facial hair, rather than a full beard.
There are, of course, many other styles that are popular for men to wear their facial hair. No matter what you choose to do with yours, understanding your reasons is vitally important to looking great and confident in your facial hair.
